If FBB had a song for him...

JUST THE TWO OF US

You wipe your sweat on the wall
I see the beauty of it all
Is when Ah Boy works the room

Watch your pushups with those arms
When I think of your sweet charm
I just wanna spend some time with you

Just the two of us
We can make it if we try
Just the two of us

Just the two of us
Kicking arses in the class
Just the two of us
You and I

We go for combat, no time for jam
It's the one made for real men
And it'll be fun to jab with you

Good things might come just hang around
Not for those who skip cooldown
We've got to stay until the end

Just the two of us
We can make it if we try
Just the two of us

Just the two of us
Kicking arses in the class
Just the two of us
You and I

I hear all the members yell
Is this heaven or it's hell
Then I realise it's because of you

Ah boy, when the evening comes
And I just wanna hug my 'son'
I want to be the one with you

Just the two of us
We can make it if we try
Just the two of us

Just the two of us
Kicking arses in the class
Just the two of us
You and I

My caller ringtone on gf's phone

Have you ever tried to do something UNUSUAL for your phone's ringtones? I actually did more than that... When we discovered that we could actually record a short video as ringtone, gf asked me to do something for her phone.

We search high and low to find the right song - apparently she wanted me to dance for the video. I wanted to do "Doncha"but somehow it won't be appropriate since I'm a gay guy.

Finally we settled for this song. Did a couple of takes and we got this for your viewing pleasure:

Ohhhhh.... CHIHUAHUA!

Luca's Pizza @ Cineleisure

Happened to try this restaurant in Cineleisure with gf a couple of weekends ago.

most of the time the place looks pretty clean and quiet

I've spotted it months ago but just didn't have the time to try it till recently.

wall deco

It's a self service restaurant- you'll need to make your order at the counter. Since gf wasn't hungry and my stomach was not well that day, ordering pizza would be a bad idea. So she ordered her chicken wings while I decided to go for pasta instead.

One thing for sure if you are going there:

WHAT YOU SEE...

IS NOT WHAT YOU GET.

Taste-wise, I've had better... but that doesn't mean it's bad. I would say Pizza Hut is way worse than this.
What about the chicken wings?

They looked okay.... and the taste? According to the chicken wing expert, not too good also.

ordered already must finish lor...
So much for my attempt to be a flogger. For a real Flog, hop to this stalker of mine.

Eat your heart out, Rihanna!

OK, I'm not a big fan of Rihanna but I thought S.O.S. was a cool song. Then when she came out with Umbrella, somehow it did not strike a chord with me. I especially detest the "ela, ela, ela" part- a bit too annoying for me to handle.

Last week however I managed to hear the accoustic version of the same song by this unknown singer on HITZ and it was a breath of fresh air! And thanks to gf's research, I've managed to find her YouTube presentation:

The name's MariƩ Digby, 24 yrs old and she's brilliant! The video is just her singing with her guitar, slightly different from the one on radio with durms and stuff but still sound pretty good.

Definitely the one to watch out for...:)

Nipples on display in IOI

Last Saturday we had our new Les Mills Launch in IOI. Honestly I can't remember when I was this excited before... even woke up around 7am, way before the alarm clock went off.

I think it's partly because this time is the first time all 7 programmes will be launch in my club and it's a whole day event packed with loads of activities like the hair-do thingy, lucky draws, etc. Another reason is probably because finally HE is coming to IOI... or so I thought.

Anyhow, Riyo and Serena were the first to launch BODYSTEP at 10.40am. we had more than 20 people in the class.. pretty good for an early class.

An hour later, it was RPM with Jon Wong and Chloe(Lilian had to be pulled out for losing her voice).

At the same time, Juwita and Anthony were getting their hair done for BODYJAM.

striking a pose before the class

doing the cha-cha

While BODYJAM was on, Klevin and Serena got their hair done.

Cute guy with his BODYPUMP hair-do

Since I was free, so I got mine done as well.

doesn't look too nice here...

It was around this time I believe, that I got an sms from him, saying that he got stuck somewhere and won't be coming. Got a bit disappointed, but then again, shouldn't have come as a surprise since we all know from the lurve chart, I'm not the one he really wants to see.

BODYPUMP with Klev and Serena

Didn't really have time to snap any more picture as I was preparing myself for the BODYCOMBAT launch. Peggy & Renee were there on time, but Jason and his "Ah Boy" was late. In the end Ah Boy came but Jason was still nowhere to be found. 20 minutes before the launch, Jason finally reached IOI- apparently he got caught in a jam from USJ. We took a few pictures with someone's camera(Peggy's i think) and that was it. Then it was LAUNCH TIME!

The launch this time was sponsored by Nike again and they guys got each a White Nike-Pro for BODYCOMBAT. The first time I wore it at home, I looked in the mirror and found that the top was kinda too revealing. So I thought of getting some dressings to cover up all the guys. I tried them and showed some of the people and all of them thought the patches made it look worse. In the end, I had to ask this very odd question to Natalie a.k.a. Stephanie,

"Would you prefer to see the nipples or the patches?"

The answer was obvious- I had to get rid of the dressings. At the end, all of us wore our top without the dressings but last min planning had all the BC instructors wearing vests in the beginning of the launch. But by the end of track 3, the girls took off their vest and we were forced to do it too- hence we had 3 sets of nipples on display for the remaining tracks. Dunno what to say anymore... Ah Boy left at the end of track 8 to rush for Axis' launch, which in the end, I found he made it to lend his support... How convenient hor?

The last 2 programmes to be presented were BODYBALANCE by Riyo & Klev and BODYATTACK by Jeremy, Serena and Lilian(only shadowing since she lost her voice). Didn't have time to take pics since just finish BODYCOMBAT.

It wasn't physically tiring but mentally, I was relieved when the whole thing was over. Happy that it was a successful launch, with BODYCOMBAT attracting a full house with definitely more that 60 participants... though the speakers in the studio had some problem halfway through track 8 of BODYCOMBAT.

Note to self: next time put Ah Boy to launch only in IOI.

The night before Merdeka

Decided to go to Putrajaya to watch the Malaysian International Fireworks Competition to celebrate Merdeka. The original 10pm display was pushed to 12 midnight so it would double-up as a merdeka firework display.

Anyhow, we decided to go early around 9 plus but apparently others were much earlier, since the announcement of the postponement was only in the newspapers on the same day. The venue was PICC but the road to the place was quite jammed. So we parked far far away and took the picture below.

Then we walked towards PICC where the fair was.

Took about 30 minutes to reach the fair. There were stalls set up near PICC.

Took pic of gf taking pictures

One thing for sure, Malaysians really love to eat. All the stalls were selling food and almost everyone was holding something edible in their hands.

The most popular "stall" was about 100 metres away from the rest. You even had to queue for what you want. The good thing: You need not order anything....

... When it's your turn, just pay and masuk to do whatever you want inside.

Didn't buy anything and we walked back to where our car was since we thought it would be easier to leave once the fireworks were over. It was still quite early by the time we reached our car. So we sat in the car and did some camwhoring... probably you'll see in gf's blog.

The fireworks started slightly after 12. For the next 25 minutes we were entertained by the Japanese team, and some special sound effects from the kids around us.

Though it's late, it still felt safe to have our local superhero SUPARMAN standing close to us.

Everything was nice all the way... till we wanted to go home. We got onto the car at 12.30am but I only reach Keping after 2am.

Stupid Merdeka Jam!
