Thank you B Braun

Friday was my last day with B Braun Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd.

Where am I heading? I'm going to England on a student visa but I'll be working instead in a chinese restaurant somewhere in Chinatown I've got an offer from Fitness First... so good that I find it hard to resist.

More money? Not necessarily. What FF offers me is more that what money can give- the opportunity to finally spend my working hours doing what I love. It started on 1 April 2005 when I joined as part-time contracted GXI(group exercise instructor) and exactly 1 year later, the circle is complete- I begin my journey as a GXC(group exercise coordinator) based in Fitness First Damansara Uptown.

Anyhow, allow me to recall the experience I've had with B Braun. I would say this company has one of the friendliest people I've ever met. Managers and sales reps who work hard and play harder together. During my stay, I was fortunate to attend various activities- quarterly sales meeting, team building activities, and annual dinners, and one sports club trip- that I could say probably changed my life forever.

Now to introduce some of the people I interact with daily:

This is Zen, Aesculap Academy manager, whose office is directly in front of my table. She was instrumental in getting gf and I together. It was because of her love for karaoke that gave us the opportunity to know each other beyond the office.

Like me, Nora is also a Customer Service Representive, Formerly from Maxis, she joined us on 1 April 2005. She the quiet type who appears calm in whatever situations.

Cynthia is the total opposite. Joined B Braun in January 2005, she has loads of conversation topics for anyone. A true blue si-lai, she claims that she cannot live without talking, and I tend to agree. Quite leng lui, and hard to believe that she is a mother of a 2-year-old girl. Among the the funny things that happened to Cynthia is being called "Setia", "Sattia", and even "SHIN CHAN" by customers.

Somehow I don't see the resemblence

There are so many more but I simply can't feature all. Suffice to say, After 3 years with B Braun, I'm taking along sweet & wonderful memories with me as I leave this evening. Thank you for everything!

As for the gym, because of my new commitment FF Damansara Uptown, I have no choice but to arrange a new class schedule in April. Sadly, I have to drop the evening classes in FF Summit, FF Axis(beginning May), FF Subang, FF MML(formerly MJH) and Sunday afternoon classes in FF Cheras Leisure Mall. This is not the final schedule as when FF Puchong IOI Mall opens in May, I will be getting classes there as well.

Fitness First, here I come!
